These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the TuConnect platform. By accessing or using TuConnect, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TuConnect.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at all times.

TuConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

TuConnect provides AI-powered career development and hiring tools for informational and professional support purposes only.

You agree to use the platform lawfully and ethically. You may not misuse TuConnect to upload false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data, reverse engineer AI systems, or interfere with platform security or functionality.

3. Payments and Credits

Certain features require payment through a pay-as-you-go credit system or institutional agreements.

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Prices, features, and payment structures may change with notice.

Unused credits have no cash value and may expire according to platform policies.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, AI models, trademarks, and materials on TuConnect belong to TuConnect or its licensors.

You retain ownership of the content you upload, such as resumes and career data, but you grant TuConnect a limited license to use this content solely to provide and improve services.

You may not copy, distribute, or exploit TuConnect content without prior written permission.

5. AI Outputs and Disclaimer

AI-generated resumes, cover letters, interview feedback, assessments, and insights are provided “as is.“

TuConnect does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview success, job offers, or hiring decisions. Career outcomes depend on multiple factors beyond the platform's control.

You acknowledge that employers make independent hiring decisions and that AI outputs should not be treated as professional, legal, or employment guarantees.

6. Employer and Institutional Use

Employers and institutions are solely responsible for their hiring decisions, compliance with employment laws, and fair use of candidate data.

TuConnect is not liable for employment disputes, hiring outcomes, or workplace decisions arising from platform use.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TuConnect shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use or inability to use the platform.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by you to TuConnect in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to TuConnect at our discretion if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or to protect the integrity of the platform.

Termination does not waive any obligations incurred prior to termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TuConnect after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
