About the Role
TuConnect (https://www.tuconnect.app/) is seeking a creative and motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our product team. This role offers hands-on experience in designing user-centric digital products and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences and is eager to learn from experienced designers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile platforms using Figma.
- Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and feedback for design improvements.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance user experience.
- Support the development and maintenance of design guidelines, style guides, and documentation.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to the team and incorporate feedback through iterative design.
- Assist in developing personas, user scenarios, and user flows based on research findings.
- Create visual assets such as icons, illustrations, and infographics as needed.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
- Eagerness to learn, openness to feedback, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
